The Finishing Line ♥ 12:00 AM

Haha..hoho..haha..hoho..hurray..yippee..hurray..yippee..hehe..Sorry for being mad for a few seconds. YES. I am really happy that the 2 months of admin work at a logistics company in Changi is finally over. I heaved a sign of relief!!! The journey to the finishing line is really a long and tough one. I remembered just two months ago when I first started work, I was basically doing some packing work and stuff, sit there stringing documents, photocopying documents, printing invoices. Thats all. The worse thing is that I had to pack the documents into boxes, just like a labourer!!! I did mentioned in my first few blog entries when I said the working life is terrible. Howvever, things changed slightly. Heaven is fair to everyone. I was assigned to do more admin duties, like calling up customers to chase for payment, updating the data in the computer and get to understand more about freightforwarding. Oh yar, I was in the Accounts Receivable department..so had the chance to talk to customers..hahaha. Actually, I learnt quite a lot of stuff in the logistics area. Terms like invoices, credit notes, debtors, GST outlay, air import, air export, sea import, sea export, CTCs, payment advice and many more. However, It can be really stressful to work in the accounts deparment. There is tremendous pressure and how to cope with the stress really requires some skill. One of my colleagues hardly step out of the office for lunch cos she is too busy. I will go crazy if I am in the office the entire day. I need interaction or else I cannot survive.

For the last day @ work

Laat day of work should have the least work to do rite, everyone?? yes. However, this is not the case for me. I was given more work by my supervisor and had to pack the compactus. WOW..doing packing on the last day. Can u guys imagine?? Never mind, Its over. The supervisor can be nice at times and she bought me a handphone chain and a necklace for me. I AM TOUCHED!!! I shouldnt have been so bad to her. She is a rather nice lady. OKie..enough of my colleagues. I am going to talk about the friendship that I forged during my stay. We had the last lunch together. Great time working with them. All of them are really outgoing and bubbly. I wish them all the very best in their lives:=)
